    Another Day Off Work

Sad I suspect all my leave is going to go on looking after sicky children! Chay is not himself at all, he went to bed and didn't get up once in the night, in fact it was only cos I was getting Kane up for school this morning that Chay woke up. First of all he bounced up and said "It's good I'm better now! Can I have mini-weetabix?" He was most annoyed with me when I said no to cereal and offered him a slice of toast. Mind you his bouncyness didn't last that long as he has now gone back to bed to watch telly, he never goes to bed to watch telly! I had purchased some lucozade yesterday so at least he has something to drink, water wasn't really doing it for him.

Miss Maya is a little clingy today (uh oh) and I am a little tired (four glasses of Baileys seemed like a good idea at the time) so the ever looming housework will have to loom for a while.

Off for a cuppatea, hopefully the walk to the kitchen will inspire me Smile!

Silly whoahmen; when we get that blank look on our faces and start muttering "Yes, Dear, whatever you say dear." repeatedly it means we're actually thinking about something entirely unrelated to whatever it is you are saying. This is autopilot mode for men and is a defense mechanism. Eileen has the right idea; park us in a coffee shop or other harmless venue where we'll most likely stay out of trouble while you silly females are shopping. However, if there is a sporting goods store within 9 statute miles of said safe venue Frankie has taken to handcuffing me to the table so that I don't wander. Most of those tables are too heavy to drag along behind me.

And easier on the stress levels... I have already learnt when shopping with Brian, it is much better to find a nice coffee shop for him to be dropped off and collected from after!

Lol!! Karen I actually bought an iron and board for his house last weekend... I'm sure he will be very grateful for me doing his errands as you say and it's easier for me because I'm in town where as he works in the middle of nowhere.. just off the motor way close to Cribbs Causeway..

ok it seems he will have to find another way to express his gratitude.... does he do ironing? ;)

Lol... um he cooks breakfast occasionally, and has cooked tea once??? when I was ill... he stands in the kitchen and keeps me company while I do it!

Lol, well I think you should subtly let him know how wet and windy it was when you went on HIS errands, I hope he is suitably grateful and at least cooks the dinner (he does do cooking doesn't he? OH used to but seems to have forgotten how)

Enjoy? Hmm.. a rather soaked semi drowned rat here! I only went out because I had to go to HMV to get Brian a DVD, and put his suit in for dry cleaning, and get something nice for tea tonight for the pair of us...

Oh hope your tummy is from yesterdays helpings of Bailey's and not the projectile pressies Chay was giving you!

Mmmm, now is it lunchtime yet, and is that a suitable time for alcohol? Mind you don't think baleys is a good plan as my tummy feels a little unsettled myself :(
